FFYF Joins White House, SBA for Child Care Roundtable
This week, the White House and Small Business Administration (SBA) announced new actions to support small businesses that offer child care for working families. FFYF Executive Director Sarah Rittling joined the White House and other leaders in the child care and small business communities for a roundtable discussion on expanding access to affordable, high-quality child care. Rittling released the following statement in response:
“Child care challenges are business challenges. When child care is too hard to find or too expensive to afford, it has an impact on young children, their families, and employers. We need a variety of approaches as we look for ways to ensure all parents can find and afford the child care they need, and we look forward to working with bipartisan lawmakers and every facet of the Administration to expand policies and fund programs that get families care.”
