Urge Congress to Prioritize Child Care and Early Learning Funding

Action

The House Appropriations subcommittee that decides funding for child care and early learning programs is making decisions right now about 2025 funding levels.

This gives us a small but essential window of opportunity to take action to support programs like the federal Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG), the Head Start and Early Head Start Program and the Preschool Development Grants (PDG) Program, all of which help families in all 50 states access child care and early learning opportunities for our youngest learners.  Not only do these programs help our young children thrive, but they support parents’ ability to go to work or school.

Join us by sending this email to your Member of Congress, urging them to protect and prioritize robust funding for CCDBG, Head Start, and PDG.
