Head Start Program Performance Standards: Quality Component Overview
For over fifty years, families across America have relied on Head Start programs to provide children the skills they need to be ready for school and families the assistance they need to support their children’s learning. Head Start programs enable parents to participate in the workforce while their children receive high-quality, comprehensive services that prepare them for kindergarten.
